Grande Communications will be coming to your neighborhood in the next few weeks!

What to expect over the next few months:

  • We want to make sure you are notified of any construction that will be taking place at, or around your home.   In order to deliver you the best in high-speed internet, phone and cable services, we need to expand our fiber-optic network in your neighborhood!  Grande will work hard to minimize any inconvenience to you and your neighbors, and our efforts should not disrupt your current internet, phone and cable services.
  • Grande construction crews will be installing this network in the existing utility easements located in your neighborhood.
  • Grande will take extra precautions to ensure the utmost care and attention is given to your property.
  • All Grande employees will carry proper identification and all vehicles will be clearly marked.
  • Grande must place its network underground, which involves open trenching or boring in the rear or easements of your property.  Our technologies allow us to cause minimal disruption to the public easement.  Prior to construction, local utilities will mark underground lines with spray paint, required by law to prevent existing utility line damage, which will quickly fade away.
  • The asphalt restoration will occur approximately one week after the trench has been opened.  This is to allow for proper compact and settling to occur.

Welcome

Grassland Estates is located in the northwest portion of the city of Midland, Texas. It is surrounded by three major thoroughfares, Wadley Ave., Loop 250 and Highway 191, for easy ingress and egress in the neighborhood. Two of Midland's finest public schools, Scharbauer Elementary and Abell Junior High are located in the neighborhood allowing walking distance to the schools from each residence. A well maintained City Park is nestled in the neighborhood and primarily used by Grassland Residents. Midland's premier residential subdivision consists of 566 residential lots lined with streets wider then the average city street. Family homes vary from approximately 2,100 to 5,000 square feet, with three or four car garages. Amenities provided by the subdivision Homeowners Association include a clubhouse, two large swimming pools and a wading pool.

Grassland Estates is governed by a Homeowners Association and membership is mandatory. Membership dues are currently $35.00 per month. The Homeowners Association is managed by an elected Board of Directors who meet on a monthly basis. All meetings are open to the public and your participation is welcome.
